So, floral flavors are one of my all-time favorite flavor profiles. I’ve had other chrysanthemum teas, but hadn’t had this one before so decided to try it. Basically its a chrysanthemum tea with honey. It tastes very plant like, like a combination of how flowers smell mixed with what it would actually be like if you ate one. It also tastes like tea as well. The honey serves as the sweetness and keeps the drink from being too bitter. But then, there’s this flavor in it that tastes like a dusty damp rag under my Grandma’s house. In my Grandma’s house in the basement, there’s a door that leads to a crawlspace area under the house and its really dank and musty in there. This drink has flavors of that. So its like smelling and eating flowers, tea, and an old musty moldy pseudo-basement under a house. That sounds like it might be a deal breaker, but it for me oddly worked, and it wasn’t bad, I even drank more than one bottle of this stuff. This definitely is an acquired taste though.
